FIREFIGHTER LIFT Cert to BS EN 81-72

Firefighter lifts should be advised to be required as part of the Fire Assessment conducted on design of the building or existing building assessment. They are required when a lifts travel is over 18 meters above ground level, or 10 meters below or combination of the both.

Evacuation lifts should be advised to be required as part of the Fire Assessment conducted on design of the building or existing building assessment. An Evacuation Lift will be a recommendation as part of the building management evacuation plan. Requirement in London and now many cities for all new multi storey and occupancy buildings.
