The iKONIC Heavy Duty can be installed in less than a week and only requires minimal refurbishment, as opposed to conventional lifts that require weeks of construction work. The platform lift can be equally useful as an accessibility solution and as a transport solution for stretchers, hospital beds, and goods.

In addition to its small footprint, low height, and 130mm lift pit, the iKONIC Heavy Duty is easily integrated into existing buildings. By adding raised platform edges to the platform, stainless steel kick plates for the doors, and hardwearing aluminium chequer plate flooring, this lift can be made even more robust. There are also automatic door openers and large remote buttons, also called elbow buttons, that can be installed to improve accessibility. Lighting is provided as standard with LED energy-saving bulbs.

In order to blend seamlessly with most architectural and decorative styles, the iKONIC Heavy Duty can be customized with a wide variety of floor, glazing, and colour options. Unlike traditional lift shafts, the modular lift shaft requires no masonry and is supplied in glass or steel panels.

With its conformity to industry standards such as The Equality Act and Part M, the iKONIC Heavy-duty can hold up to five people or 1000 kg. It is suitable for both commercial and residential use. The platform is capable of traveling a maximum distance of 13 meters, at a speed of 0.15 meters per second.
