Paulo Margarido

Paulo Has Over 25 Years’ Experience

Paulo is well established within the lift industry and has worked in the construction sector all his working career, even from the age of 16 Paulo was installing lifts for Otis in Portugal. Paulo had found his passion for engineering at an early age and moved on to work with the service depart at Thyssen Krupp where he worked and gained 10 years’ experience in field work including repairs, service, and callouts.

Paulo then went to work for Schindler for 10 years, starting out as an engineer for the company, his potential was spotted and soon developed leading to Paulo becoming the Service Manager and managed a team of 14 Engineers in Lisbon.

Paulo came to the UK in 2018 to work for Orona as the Operations Manager based in London, with his latest experience working as a Service Manager for a UK Lift Company which allowed Paulo to focus on more of a consultancy approach to high-end customers.

Paulo is very family orientated and spends all his free time with his wife and daughter.

I am now looking forward to the ikonic Lift’s challenge and to help create a customer-focused service department
